Research Interests
Taxonomy and biochronology of Radiolaria; stratigraphy of Mesozoic basins.
Since her M.Sc. on Middle Triassic radiolarians from Slovenia and Ph.D. on Jurassic and Cretaceous radiolarian biostratigraphy of the Budva Zone in Montenegro, she has continued her radiolarian research in the Dinarides. Currently she is mostly working on radiolarian cherts from Turkey, Iran and Oman. She has been continuously involved in joint projects on taxonomy and biochronology of Mesozoic radiolarians conducted under the auspices of InterRad (International Association of Radiolarian Paleontologists).
