Since 1990 employed at Ivan Rakovec Institute of Paleontology ZRC SAZU. Her main research interest are fossil vertebrates: from Triassic ichthyosaurs, Late Cretaceous dinosaurs and crocodiles, to Quaternary mammals. Currently she is mostly working on cave bear paleobiology. She teaches archaeozoology within the subject of Environmental archaeology at the Department of Archaeology, University of Ljubljana.
